Brand Information

Clerico

Since 1976, the Domenico Clerico estate has been making iconic wines at the heart of Barolo in Monforte d’Alba, with outstanding vineyard holdings in four of the greatest crus of Monforte: Ginestra, Pajana, Mosconi, and Bussia. The estate is best known for his Nebbiolo based wines with extraordinary richness and exceptional aromatics. Domenico discovered the best plots in Barolo and pioneered the idea of single cru wines, in addition to using new burgundy barrels and later barriques to age the wines.
